You might remember this petite “GourMom” from the first season of Bravo TV's Emmy award winning reality show, Top Chef. Chef LisaPilar is a born and raised Cali-girl who learned the art of cooking with love and passion from watching her mother.
Chef LisaPilar is spicy and fiesty! She’s also a supremely talented chef with a strong sense of culinary adventure. She explores and experiments with uncommon and often unfamiliar ingredients, new flavors and original techniques, which ultimately result in the creation of dishes that are extraordinarily flavorful and unique. And like most great chefs, Chef Lisa's standards are extremely high. She has a sincere appreciation for delectable food prepared with only high quality fresh ingredients. A passionate soul by nature, her standards are definitely reflected in her cooking style.
Chef LisaPilar is a wife and mother of three. She received her professional chef certification from The New School of Cooking in Culver City, California and is a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals. Chef LisaPilar is owner of Something Culinary, a gourmet cooking instruction business. She also owns Amuse Bouche Culinary Services offering exclusive, personalized culinary accents to spice up your next event, kitchen or dish. Chef LisaPilar is a published author, conducts food demonstrations and works as a private/personal chef. Chef LisaPilar is a published author.
